OK, well we're here. Declan saw the pictures in the LP Guide and wanted to come here. So to maintain the thin veneer of democracy in the household we did. Don and I thought we had been here on the last trip, but after being there we're not so sure.
It took an hour and a half to get there from Phitsanoluk where we are staying. We hired a tuk tuk in the morning to see the sites further afield and then in the afternoon we hired 3 bikes to see the nearer stuff. Declan rode on teh back of Dons bike.
We are heading back south to Ayutthaya by train tomorrow and have purchased our sleeper ticket on the train from Bangkok to Surat Thani so we can hit beaches on 5th Feb.
Boys still really enjoying it - Callum described it as 'terrific' in an email today. Declans burn is healing nicely. Kids aren't enjoying the food here as much as in Cambodia as it contains a LOT more chilli! Declan was actually in tears after dinner at a food stand last night so we had to go to a 7/11 to get some yoghurt after.
