We packed up and said goodbye to the Lytle's this morning. We had our longest day of driving today. It took us about 7 hours to get to Mt. Rushmore. It was another beautiful drive for the most part. The 'Big Horn National Park' was full of amazing rock formations. It was pretty tight in the RV driving through the canyons. It was also very hot during the drive. This is the first time we had to run the generator the whole way so we could run the roof top air.
We got in around 7pm and our park is only about 5 miles from Mt. Rushmore. We got set up and Kelly and I took a walk aound. The boys wanted to stay in and play with their paper airplane kit. Tomorrow, we'll hang out at the pool during the day and go to Mt. Rushmore tomorrow night.
