Today, we went into Jackson and walked around the downtown area. I've been talking with an old friend of mine who we haven't seen in years. Frank Tsamoutales and his wife Kim are out from Florida to their place in Jackson. They invited us to come stay the night with them. Frank mentioned that his wife's parents would also be there. Kim's father is Brian Hill, NBA coach of the Orlando Magic. (He is actually now headed to the New Jersey Nets) When the boys heard they were going to meet an NBA coach they were ecstatic. Collin was asking nonstop, "when are we going to meet him?" We had such a great time with them. It was great to see Frank, meet Kim and her parents. We were blown away by how humble Brian was. We played pool, he autographed the boys basketballs and they loved it!
I think we appreciate seeing friends even more when we're on the road. We meet lots of new people along the way, but we really enjoy seeing friends.
