Today,we spent almost the entire day at the OMSI. There was a variety of interactive activities for the boys.(and Kelly and I) Next week the "Bodies" exhibit is coming. We caught that exhibit in Tampa last year and it was amazing. We spent a couple of hours in the science museum today, before we went to the "Black Holes" presentation in the planetarium. We came out of there scratching our heads we were so confused. You obviously have to be some kind of aerospace nut to be able to follow it. I can't believe the boys even sat through the entire show. But, their pretty good about that kind of thing.
After the planetarium was the IMAX presentation of "The Alps." That was incredible. It was about a guy who grew up in Switzerland and lost his father to a climbing incident. His father was "obsessed" with climbing a mountain called the Eiger. Anyway, now this guy wanted to climb it. He was 40 years old and now lives in the U.S.. He managed to pull it off. We're afraid that Collin may have gotten some ideas. About half way through the movie Keegan says, "hey Collin you wanna climb the Eiger?" Of course Collin whispered, "YEAH!"
We finally closed the museum down around 5:30pm. We stopped at Macaroni Grill for dinner on the way home.
