This morning, we drove north to Marysville to the Boeing plant for a tour. It was really interesting to learn about the new 787 they have coming out. It's made of composite materials instead of metal so it 40,000lbs lighter than other planes. It also looks a lot different on the inside. The seats look very 'retro.' They're thinner, so there is more leg room and there's almost like a little foyer with a domed ceiling in the entry way. The most incredible thing is the production time. Right now it takes about to build their typical plane, but it only takes 6 days to build a 787 with this new composite material. They will eventually be able to get it to 3 days.

After the tour we went to pick up Riley. We had an interesting experience while she was at the vet getting 'chipped.' I got a call yesterday from them saying, "Riley already has a chip in her." Kelly and I were baffled because the woman we bought her from never told us she was chipped. The information on the chip is for an animal shelter in Florida. After talking to them, we've come to the conclusion that Riley may have been a stray dog the woman got from the vet and then told us she had bred her. We can't be sure and the bottom line is she is the perfect dog so we don't really care.

We made a couple of stops on the way back to the RV park. Tonight, we cooked out, the boys played with the neighbor kids and swam in the lake. After dinner, Kelly and I sat around the fire and talked with the parents. They're wonderful people from this area and their kids are extremely polite. You definitely meet some great people RVing.
