The sun is finally shining in the Seattle today. We woke up early to pack up the RV and head out for our day trip to the Olympic National Park area before heading over to Vancouver Island in British Columbia.

After storing the RV, we casually drove northwest to Sequim...a small town east of Olympic National Park on the Dungeness Bay. This is where the Dungeness Crab gained it's claim to fame. We're staying a little bed and breakfast on barter out in the country. The boys were thrilled to finally get out of the car and had a ball playing in the pond with water, a stick, and a water wheel.

After a little relaxing time, we headed out to see Sequim (not much to see here) and have dinner. On our drive home, we went by the National Wildlife Refuge and Dungeness Spit for a short hike. At the beginning of the Spit (looks like a jetty) we could see the lighthouse 6 miles out and the ferry passing by. The boys spotted many deer along the road and took a few pictures.

We took the scenic drive home along the Dungeness Bay in time for Keegan and Collin to see the Disney movie, Back on Board. They've been waiting for this movie to come out and were thrilled to be staying where there was cable. We're going to bed early tonight to be ready for our trip to Hurricane Ridge before we catvh the ferry over to Victoria, BC. -Kelly

PS-It was nice to have a mellow day and slow the pace down a little!
