We packed up this morning to leave Portland. We hit the local farmers market in downtown before we left. We had a little difficulty finding a place to park the RV so we decided to go back to the science museum and park there. The market was one of the better ones we've been to. The main reason was everything that was being sold(arts and crafts) had to be made by hand. We've been to many markets while traveling, and this made it much better. The food was also better than most farmers markets and the boys saw an amazing street performer. I don't know that you could say he was talented, but the boys found him entertaining. I'm not sure if it was the nail he hammered into his nostril, the sword he swallowed or the inflated balloon he swallowed and didn't remove.(now that's entertainment!)

After we had our fill, we hooked up the car and headed north to Mount Saint Helen, WA. We found another great state park and the boys and made another friend, Alex, when we got in. He's a handful. It was about 5 minutes after they started playing together that I heard Collin say, "my mom and dad won't let us play with you if you talk that way." We went for a hike and took us with him. He's really a good kid and boys had fun riding bikes with him. On our way to our hike, we bumped into a guy that had just finished climbing Mount Saint Helen.(now we don't have to)
