Today, after the boys schooled(and Collin got some scootering in), Kelly took them to the Queen Mary.(sister ship to the Titanic) It is actually twice the size of the Titanic and was the fastest marine vessel of its' time. It still holds the record for holding the most passengers ever.(almost 16,000) That was during World War II when, because of its size and speed, the government stripped it of its' luxury, painted it grey and outfitted it for military use. This ship was so infamous, Hitler offered $250,000 to anyone who could sink it. After the war it was re-fitted as a luxury liner. Today, it is used as a hotel in Long Beach.
Tonight we cooked chicken on the grill and the boys played with friends. The weather was beautiful!
