Vevey, Vaud, Switzerland

As we arrived in Vevey the sun was shinning and we were looking across Lake Le Leman at France. We checked into our hotel and took a stroll around the waterfront and old town. As we walked on the down the waterfront we noticed that lots of the flower beds had been planted with garden vegetables. What a great idea. We found a open pub and enjoyed a beer before eating dinner. The next morning the weather was glorious with blue sky's and puffy clouds. Our weekend in Switzerland was over but we had a great time. This was the cleanest country we have ever visited and while an expensive place we have never meet more welcoming and friendly people.
