We arrived at our hotel the night of the 27th.  The hotel is just beautiful with pools and hotubs, set on top of a hill overlooking the San Antonio Valley.  The people here are wonderful....everything is definately BIGGER in Texas!!!!  We stayed at the Casita Village and had a private hottub and pool right outside our Casita door.

Friday morning was an early start.  We woke up at 6am had a quick swim and hottub and then headed over to the Club House to get prepared for our 18-hole round of golf....just for the record, it was my FIRST 18-hole round of golf!!!!

It was an awesome morning for golf.  No rain, not too hot and not too sunny.  The fairways are wide so luckliy I didn't loose too many balls...althought I did manage to hit one right at the guy that was golfing with us.  Luckily he was sitting in his golf cart so the damage was minimal, but still..............oh well, I guess my aim in golf is about as bad as my aim when throwing things.  I did manage one long drive of about 140yards, which acutally went straight and I tried once for a hole-in-one, but no luck.  I think I manager to get par on one hole, not bad for a first-timer.  Mike of course has done this before so he was pretty good!!  I have to say I like my 5wood the best.

That afternoon we had a bit of a rest (who says golf is not exerrcise. I used muscles I didn't know I had.)  After our brief rest we headed downtown to the Mexican Market.  After about 3 shops we realized that they all sell the same stuff.  After a quick bite to eat at a Mexican Restaurant in the market we headed north to the AT&T Center for the Spurs Game.

The game was AWESOME.  Once again, we tried to star-spot, thinking that Eva Longoria might be there cheering on Tony but no luck, she must have known the stalker was coming so she stayed home for the night.  We did see Lance Armstrong...on the big screen.  Did I mention that the Spurs won?

We ended the night tired and happy!
