Beaudry RV Rally Park - fullhookups for $25 a nights

Flag of United States  , Arizona

Wow, after months of driving short distances we actually put 740 miles behind us in less than 24 hours.  In fact, Ken went almost 600 miles the first day of traveling before I 'kindly requested' he pull over for the night.  After a restful nights sleep in the parking lot of the Flying J truck stop in Lordsburg, New Mexico we headed out for Tucson. We had forgotten that Arizona was currently in a different time zone from New Mexico and actually pulled into the Rally park earlier than we had planned on this morning. ( we call this a rookie move - but Arizona can confuse even the most adept traveller since they don't follow Daylight Savings Time )

Arriving early wasn't a problem since the good folks at the Beaudry Rally Park were all set up and waiting for us early arrivals.  Our early arrival also gave us a site closer to the 'action' and gave Ken the opportunity to get in a round of golf.  The rally kicks off on Monday and we are looking forward to catching up with friends we haven't seen in a while.

From here we will head over to Mesa and will spend a couple of weeks with Ken's mom.  After that our time will be spent between Palms Springs, the Bay Area and back in Mesa.  We will try to visit some new campgrounds and areas but this is  territory we have pretty well covered.  With that being said I probably won't have very many entries over the next couple of months.  Stick with us though and check back often - you never know what we might stumble across!!
