First of all, Medora is in the middle of nowhere. It is also a very beautiful spot in the Badlands of North Dakota. Without the Theodore Roosevelt NP, not sure it would still be in existence.
Someone decided this would be a great place for a high end daily fee golf course. The Bully Pulpit golf course can be played individually ($85) or part of a trilogy of courses in North Dakota for $140. One course is in the capital in Bismarck and the other is in Ray (down a dirt road and even more remote). As they say, in for a penny-in for a pound. The first two courses I played were very nice but nothing really special. Everyone had said 'Oh yea, but wait till you get to Bully Pulpit, the views are spectacular. They were correct.
The photos were the best I could do in between hitting the little white ball and oohing and ahhing
