Corromandel Penninsular
Friday 29th August
We left Miranda for Corromandel, but only after a good soak in a 37c hot bath and a good shower. Clean and full we head off to see Carol and Peter in Mirangai.

The best sunny weather yet since we have been here. On the way round the windy coastal road we see people carrying bags off the beach. Stopping to find out what it is we went and picked our own green lipped NZ mussels. 50 to be precise for us to eat at our leisure.

Saturday 30th August
Fantastic hospitality we couldnt get up out of our warm bed with very full bellys. Peter came back from a few days skiing last night and today we go sight seeing for Kawri trees, waterfalls and a look round the local village and try the NZ icecream.
