I have dreamt about what the Atlantic looks like. Its funny, it looks a lot like the Pacific...except no waves. I flew on a red eye out to Boston and Chris' Mom picked me up from the airport and I ate at took me to breakfast at the Four Seasons in Boston. It was amazing! We had some fresh fruit and eggs benedict. Once there she drove me down to the Ferry dock which is about an hour away from Boston and I hopped on a ferry to Martha's Vineyard. The first day that I was there Chris picked me up from the ferry station and we went straight to South Beach. The ocean felt so good after the long night of traveling. And it was ungodly hot! Got some ice cream in Edgar Town. We went to see the sunset at another small town and its one of the only places on the East Coast where the sun sets over the water. That night we went to a bar to see the Grateful Dread. A Grateful Dead cover band which was awesome! The rest of the time that I spent there was relaxing. We went to the beach and hung out. It was just what I needed before my journey across the Atlantic. The East Coast is a beautiful place. The night before I left I spent in Marblehead. Chris' parents took me out to dinner at the yacht club that they belong too. It was wonderful!! A great way to kick of my great adventure.
