We had quite an exciting day today. While we were setting up at our store in palmetto, fl, we met a very niice chaplain, don. It was so good getting to visit with him! He was such an encouragement to us and we really enjoyed his company! After getting set up out in the parking lot a manager came out to us and asked us if we would mind moving our event to the front of the store. So we closed everything back up and moved. It was probably only thirty minutes after we moved that one of our boxes stopped working and we began to smell something burning. All this immediately followed by the sight of smoke rising out of the track quickly drew a crowd to see what was going on. We quickly turned off all power to the event and took the track apart to see where the fire was coming from. Apparently, the wiring was messed up underneath the track and it caused a fire. We took pictures and called our boss to fill them in and they are giving us the next two days to try and get the trailer rewired at least in that one section and to get our boxes working again, (they of course shorted out from the fire). So we will see what we can get done.
