Hi Everyone,
We left the Bay of Islands on Wednesday morning to travel to Rotorua, we drove via the Kuari coast which is where the only indigineous Kauri trees still remain. The Kauri tree is the 2nd largest species of tree in the world and it is HUGE! We also went via the museum which has all the traditional objects the wood from the trees was used for.
Continued on with the journey and got to Rotorua late on Wednesday night...
