Hi everyone,

In Langkawi now, an island off the thai / malaysian border. Picture postcard paradise, whitesand beaches (and one black), palm trees, hot weather and it's DUTY FREE! Beer only 20p a can!
Staying in a lovely chalet on the beach. A few good bars and restaurants around us so having the life of riley at the moment. Rented a car for two days as it is the only way to explore the island, check out the size of the car in the photos! Went to the main town of Kuah, loads of duty free shops and then headed out to explore the interior which is quite mountaineous. Spectacular waterfalls and monkeys everywhere. The roadsigns warn against monkeys crossing the road, a far cry from cows in Ireland.
Paul finally got shaved, a full cut-throat blade job by a very handsome lady boy. Very late to bed last night as Paul watched the champion's league semi final live, started over here at 3.00am.
Heading to Singapore tomorrow, have a flight to Kuala Lumpar and then an overnight sleeper train which takes about 10 hours tomorrow night.
Off now to celebrate our last night in Malaysia, this time next week we will be in Australia.

Love Lisa and Paul x
