We travelled to Fatepur Sikri .....  detail to come..... local bus onto Bharatpur to visit the Keoladeo Bird Park
We arrived late afternoon at the hotel which had a lovely garden and again caught bicycle rickshaws (we hate it when we get a little guy driving us or one that is sick or coughing...oh well)
anyway.... only bikes are allowed into the birdpark  (Keoladed Bird park) so these  rickshaw drivers are actually trained as guides and bird watches as well and help spot the birds as we cycled thru the park.  The monsoon rains have been really low the last few years which is a real shame as you see that most of the area should be under flood but was dry. They are pumping water artificially into one end of the flat lands to try and encourage the birds to stay.  This park is on the main migrating route for thousands of birds from as far a way as Russia, Mongolia and Australia.
Needless to say even though this is the best time of year to see big numbers of birds in this park, the numbers were really low.  Makes you wonder how the droughts around the world are mucking up our wildlife hey!??.  We stayed here until the park closed @ 6pm which allowed us to enjoy the sunset again over the park.  (some of the men in the group decided they would peddle the rickshaws back to the entrance - bad move with a pile up and one almost in the lake - good laugh and photos)
Back to hotel and everyone brought beer which is real expensive about $4.50 a bottle so many are starting to buy vodka instead as its only $3.50 a bottle.  A nice night with everone sitting around in the garden.

The groups great, 5 Aussies, 5 UK, 1 NZ and  1 yank and most of them are really witty so one liners just flow all day.  There are no clicks so everone just talks or spends time with whoever is around at the time which makes time fly.  Tomorrow a 4 hour local bus to Fort Madhogarth.
