We left at 5am from Mum's place with her car (Peugeot 206), caught the Corsica Ferry on a very calm day for a crossing of about 7 hours. Arrived in Ajaccio and thank god for my cousin's Garmin GPS to find the hotel in the city where everybody drive like in India...
Walked down to the old city to visit the Citadelle, Napoleon Bonaparte House, and the small narrow streets. Watched people dressed in the Napoleon era, march and dance (Menuet etc.). It was Napoleon's week in Corsica.
Tomorrow we are off to Porto for 2 days.
