I'm thinking of changing our blog site... this isn't really a travel-based blog anymore and so wouldn't provide any useful information for other travellers on Travelpod...any ideas?
Alhumdulillah! It's the weekend! Time to enjoy being with my children before work and school take over our lives for another week! A pool party tomorrow for the children across the square from us. It's at our pool on the complex so I will be there early and leave late! Another excuse for some good new friends to get together again. And Friday (virtual Sunday)? Nada. I hope.
Visitors for next year are starting to book Hotel Al Mitchell. EXCITING!

I've just done a bit of a search and there are quite a few bloggers here in Muscat who muse on life and society in Oman. I'd just be another one....what to do....? It is mostly for friends and family to stay in touch with what we are doing here, I'm sure our opinions are not as important...maybe staying put is the answer....
Having said that....I am keen to learn all I can about the Islamic life and culture generally as well as in Oman. I have so many questions, maybe I could still muse and pose western and rather uncertain questions that may (or may not) be discussed and answered.
I may wander over to OPNO (How to Live Like and Omani Princess.com) and get some advice!
