Wandering into the cemetery and Playa de Muertos (Beach of the Dead) that night was probably not the wisest move. But it was Halloween. It had to be done! Gosia and Henry were game too.

Our overactive minds kept drawing parallels to different scary movies. It was like a spoof within a spoof. You know that point in the movie when you know something bad is gonna happen? But no zombies appeared. There was no Dawn (or Shaun!) of the Dead! No one with a scream mask either. And no one who knew what we did last summer!

Instead of trick-or-treating at people's doors, Sayulita kids wander the streets in costume and visit the restaurants around town. But the real Mexican celebrations start tomorrow...
