A jobs day today. All the things that haven't got done because we have been too busy having fun.

A messy breakfast at the hostel. I think we need to get sponsored by a baby wipe company. Taya is enjoying her food though, so that is a bonus - weetabix, toast, yoghurt and fruit salad for breakfast!

The boys popped into a salon for a haircut. Dylan is used to his kids hairdressers at home where he sits in a racing car chair, watches a kids DVD ad, sucks a lollipop, and they de hair him in 5 seconds flat. Today he is on the big chair (like daddy), with his big cape on (like daddy), and the lady really takes her time over it. She talks to him all the way through and they have a proper chat (like daddy), about the zoo and the animals and London and the weather. It is so cute to watch, he seems so grown up. She is quite taken with him.

Next job, operation fix the camera that Emma dragged out of the car onto the hard floor a few weeks back! The back LCD screen was broken when we arrived in Melbourne. Several camera shops later whilst in Hobart they ordered us the new part. Broken camera and part in hand we finally find someone who can put the two together, and the best part is he can do it today. So only one day camera less.

We walk from the city to have a quick look at Darling Habour. Dylan's new love is yellow water taxis, so we gaze at those for a while, before picking up a picnic lunch for the return ferry back to circular quay. The trip takes us under the bridge.

Back at the hostel for naps for all four of us - nice.

This afternoon it's food shopping time to stock up for the rest of the week. Now Taya is wanting more to eat we want to include her even more in mealtimes which means being even more organised each day.

Emma met up with her work friends this evening, John Cunnane, Jo Wands and Sami Benafia at The Glenmore Hotel for steak and drinks on the roof terrace. Fun night catching up on the gossip.
