Tarangire National Park, Tanzania

My first day of safari started out with a bang! The number of Elephants in Tarangire National Park is absolutely amazing. I don't know what my expectations were for a safari, but I was completely blown away with the amount of wildlife and the amazing setting. The best way that I can relate what the experience was like is to compare it to a scene from Jurassic Park. If you have seen the movie and remember the scene with the wide open fields and forest with myriads of different types of dinosaurs walking across a great expanse, well that is exactly what safari is like, only the animals are real!
