The weather at home indicates a mild Christmas period so there will be little regret at the thought
of maybe missing long, lazy Summer days we love to look forward to each year. We are sure thoughts will turn to superb Sydney seaside Summer soirees once the endless fog, cold, wet, snowy weather begins to lose its novelty. In the meantime, carpe diem!
There is definitely an anticipation in the air downstairs with excited giggles and chatter as I write this first blog. Peter has been nutting out the intracacies of the IPAD2 as a replacement gadget for the cumbersome travel laptop. All the relevant downloads and tweaking is complete! Sam is keen but somewhat skeptical about trying out his 'sleeping aid' in an attempt to ensure he doesn't arrive in London as the walking dead this time. Flights + Sam + sleep isn't an equation that seems to work for him. He is determined to avoid spending ALL his flying time owl eyed but exhausted. Jess just bounces around having lined all his ducks up days ago. Shoes, socks, jeans and shirt have lain in wait for days. The backpack sits neatly packed on the floor. Nothing else to do but wait....
Anywho, I just say whatever now .... let the adventure begin. Will definitely be thinking of our family and friends this Christmas time and can't wait to share what is yet to be discovered.
