English breakfast this morning and then a walk back into town to listen to the carillon - an hour of bells hand rung from the citadel at the top of the mountain. A wander round the 'antique book market' was interesting and then we heard the bells so climbed up to the citadel to hear and see the view from the top - both amazing view and expertise with the bells. The bell ringers skills to be heard for miles around by thousands of people. Just one man playing for an hour. It was quite beautiful. Kids and adults were allowed to have a go during a five minute break - himself was tempted but didn't! A lovely wander round the town where a chance look into a olive oil shop led us to a great introduction to the production and pressing of oil. Naturally purchases were made and back to Sonia for the GP.
