Friday, August 13, a final trip downtown Heidelberg. We went to the top of the mountain where the Heidelberg Castle is located. The spot of a few of the pictures is above the castle and gives a great view of Heidelberg and the surrounding area, We had to leave quickly because of a storm, but it was a great day.
Today, Sunday, it is raining again, so we have not ventured out. However, we are all tired because of the party held here last night anyway. Luckily, it was a gorgeous day yesterday so the party was held outdoors in the 'commons'. One family, who we had met in Hohenfels, spent the night.
We are mostly packed and tomorrow at this time we will be in the air. I still have some videos that I would like to share, so perhaps will do that once arriving home.
It was fun to share our vacation with you all!
