We went to downtown Heidelberg on Wednesday, only touched the surface, but it was great. Thursday and Friday, Wendy, Missy, three friends of Wendy's, and I ventured into Poland for the Polish pottery mission. What an experience! It was very successful, now to get it home! YIKES!!!
Tomorrow we head to Garmish, Eagle's Nest, Oberammergau. We should return on Thursday when you can expect another blurb and a few more pictures.
We had a cook-out tonight with friend's of Paul and Wendy that we had met previously at Ft. Hood. He is going to Iraq soon - they has four boys ages 10 years to six months. We all agreed she has the harder job. Ya think?? She is going to CA to live near his parents while he is gone.

The harder job ???
You sure can tell a mother wrote that line. With as crazy as the insurgients are and as unpredictable as kids can be (we know something about that - don't we?) I think I would take the kids over the Iraq situation. Don't know the person but relay our 'thanks and good luck-best wishes, etc.' to him for us.
Getting pottery home from a foreign country can be interesting. I remember bringing home a tea set from Moscow---guarded it with my life.
Sounds and looks like everyone is having a great time. Glad to hear from you and the updates. Take care.
