The rental car place (alamo) took forever. We ended up with a hard top
jeep ultimate. It looks like a hummer. Right up our alley NOT. But we
feel safer then camping and hiking with all our gear in a convertible.
We ended our day with a walk on th beach and a quick trip to walmart
to pickup groceries. Along the way we passed a costco, kmart, borders
and macys. This is not the Kauai from 20 years ago that I recall from
my last trip here.
Our hotel for the night was a great find and we are off to bed. We
miss Maddie and Brooke tons and thought about them a lot today,
especially with Brooke's rash and having to stay home from school. We
are really looking forward to talking to them tomorrow.
