We had a good last meal in Knysna. Michael (dad) enjoying Kudu carpaccio followed by Karoo Lamb chops, I went for fillet steak and it was absolutely delicious.

Having said goodbye to ex pats Joyce and Graham, we set off on our long journey to Simons Town. We stopped only once and made it in 6 hours. The roads are very straight and fast. The Boathouse boutique hotel over looks Simons Town harbour. We have an amazing room with a fantastic view.

Tomorrow we are going to see the penguin colony and then down to Cape Point.
