Well, well, well. It seems that not all little trips away mean that everything that's been so well organised goes wrong! I, The captain, have managed to sneak away for a little trip to France (in search of international sponsors of course!) Enjoying the barbecues and winter sun that the South of France still offers, I tried my best to ensure that my little, non-communicado, trip wouldn't bring with it the downfall of the Team and everyone involved! And surprisingly, despite never being in signal range, retrieving messages or even replying to them, Team GSR has managed to keep up the momentum, and roll itself into a new and larger outlook for the upcoming race! We're only 20 days till take-off now!!!!!

So what's happened? We'll on the French side- we've drummed up interest from local business in the South who are keen to involve themselves. It's always good to have a few friends!!! But that's about it. I managed to keep myself almost out of the loop and let everyone else sort things out! And that they did!

Taking us away from the distraction of Sunny Southern France; back home in England - as the gale force winds prevent my boat from docking, leaving us stranded in the middle of the sea for four hours (i'm not bitter)- we've become stronger, bigger and better!!! We could want for no more. For the clever few amongst you you'll note that we've expanded! The Team is now fielding TWO VEHICLES! This means double the fun and double the trouble - especially since we've issued some formal challenges to other teams to compete on anything we can thing of!!! These two vehicles are needed to occupy the Two New Members of the team, Whose beautiful faces shall be adorning the Site by this Thursday - so keep an eye out!!!!!

But who are they? Well.... We are now joined by the enigmatic, youthful and advertisingly gifted Mr. Sebastian Stokes and the Aircraft Impressario and sibling of Mike, Mr. Alex Franjieh! The two are ready and willing to make this adventure the most exciting and most productive it can be. Good for Charity, good for us, good for you. No losers here!!!!

With these two now in our midst, we can concentrate on the all import and Visa getting, Rickshaw acquisition and decorating, and also Making sure we are up and ready with all the little things that'll keep us alive in the wilds of India. So roll on Pill taking, needle jabbing and liquid swallowing that is the visit to the local GP for the travel clinic!
