Next day we had to head into Auckland to pick up Jed's tooth guard. This surprisingly only took 15 mins to drive from Takapuna Beach. Wandering down by Viaduct Harbour we came across a big yellow bath duck – and I mean BIG!
It was there to promote a new TV channel. More info about ducky here - Channel 4

Once we had the tooth guard, off we set to the Coromandel Peninsular.
