We decided not to cook....instead we were directed to go (arriba, arriba) UP-UP to Brisas Del Monte in San Miguel.....
We found the restaurant open (only open Friday thru Sunday 11am-11pm) and were welcomed by friendly staff, beautiful views of the valley and Poas, and delicious food...
We enjoy the Grecia people, coffee, mangoes, sugar-cane, oranges, and more.....the air invigorates you~What a treat!
We stayed at the Mango Valley Inn-another off the beaten track B&B........
Simple, affordable, clean, the hottest water of all our accommodations w/ the fluffiest towels, crisp sheets on very comfy beds, the biggest breakfast and sweetest owners (originally from Russia) ....They have put a lot of work into creating a nice environment for travelers in the midst of a coffee plantation with beautiful views, fresh air and secure grounds.... we paid only $25.00 per person including the enormous breakfast and in room coffee..........and will be back!
