Barnaby and his friends were invited by their new friend, Harold, to attend the Laura Aboriginal Dance Festival. Here, many different tribes from all over Australia displayed their traditional dance routines, along with some contemporary routines. The dancing was accompanied by the sombre sounds of the didgeridoo and rhythmic clapstick playing. The festival is held biannually and is now in its 36th year. It attracts over 5000 people from all over the world. Barnaby is sorry that he hasn't been able to update his blog recently but he hasn't been able to get on to the internet anywhere.
