Just a short update. We're on our first family holiday, escaping the Sydney rain and enjoying the nice warm weather of Hawaii. We have rented an apartment overlooking Waikiki beach - it has the most awesome view from the beach to the mountains from 13F. We have a fully equipped kitchen, laundry, lounge, internet access (obviously) and we can use all the facilities of the hotel next door - pool, spa, gym etc. Very HAPPY here - do we have to leave ???
Have been catching up on some Japanese food - raamen, tonkatsu - natsukashii & very oishii !
We are renting a car next Monday and driving the island, and will stop at a friend's place for lunch. Looking forward to the day trip. Otherwise we have been totally relaxed and just enjoying being amongst the action here - some shopping, walking, pool, gym, daily cocktails....
Oliver is now almost 5 months. He has travelled well and is enjoying the daily walks. We have bought him some new clothes here (you will see the Hawaiian outfit on the pics); and also been to Book Off (yes its in Waikiki as well), so he has some baby Japanese books.
His new trick in the past few days is rolling from his back to his tummy - he has just mastered it and is now doing it multiple times.
Oliver has been charming many here with his cute smile - perhaps in practice for a few years time...
Life is good and we're enjoying the new family life that Oliver has brought us. Will keep you updated on our plans (if any)
Hope to see you in Oz in the near future.
Otherwise, as the saying goes "Life is a Beach "

Wow, Oliver is getting big.Can' wait to meet him in person one day. Have a wonderful vacation and keep in touch
You guys look like you are having a wonderful time. I think that Oliver will be a very well travelled young lad. We are currently in Norseman, WA having crossed the Nullabor Plain. What a tremendous trip it has been so far.
