Near the end of the day, but not before sundown, we arrived at our hotel in Lloret de Mar. It was a two minute walk from the beach, with thick grains of beige sand bordering the cold, dark blue water. I touched the waves spreading along the sand. But did not swim - 'interdit de se baigner! (liability on the part of the organisers). Not like I would have any way!!

I was hoping there would be a nice sunset, but the sky was clouded over and it was chilly, so we returned to the hotel, me to my room with Jeane and Landy, to sleep the night away.
