This is going to be a catch up blog because I'm so far behind on doing blog entries.  We went on up the Oregon coast to Cannon Beach, then we went over to Portland and had dinner with Patti's nephew Gary.  We also spent time with Patti's brother Charlie.  From Portland we went to Biggs on the Columbia river and stayed at Peach Tree RV park which is on the Washington side of the river next to the state park.  We stayed at Biggs for 4 days and then drove to Ellensburg where we stayed at Valerie and Jasons for another 4 days.  While in Ellensburg I helped Jason wire their truck so they could tow their new (to them) travel trailer.  We left Ellensburg and drove to Leavenworth where we spent one night in the free parking lot.  We looked in lots of shops and had a great dinner (German food and German beer).  The next morning we drove to Chelan and got a river side site in Beebe Bridge State Park.  We arrived here on Wed. and stayed through Monday.  On Friday, Valerie, Jason and the puppies along with their trailer arrived at the campground.  We saved them a site near ours which worked out really well.  Saturday we all went to Chelan and tasted wines and Sunday they drove back to Ellensburg.  Monday we drove up highway 20 across the North Cascades and ended up at Northern Lights RV park near Anacortes.  We stayed here 3 nights, then went to a RV park in Oak Harbor for one night.  With the 4th of July approaching we discovered that the RV parks were completely booked up, so we went to Tulalip Casino where they have a huge RV parking area.  You can stay here for free, there are no hook ups but they don't care if you unhook and leave your trailer in the lot.  We went to the factory outlet stores, and I bought a new stereo for the trailer because the original unit quit playing CD's.  Located behind the RV lot was Boom Town and every night for hours they set off absolutely amazing fireworks displays.  We have never seen so many fireworks!  We left Tulalip and drove back to Whidbey Island where we stayed at Fort Ebey.  We took the ferry and went over to Sequim to visit with Erik and his family.  Erik works for Les Schwab so I got the truck tires rotated while there.  We took Erik, Holly, and their girls out to dinner.  We got a motel room for the evening because the ferry doesn't in the evenings after about 8PM.

This gets us up to July 9th.  The next few blog entries will be to add spots to our map.
