Wednesday we took advantage of the strong winds and let them help blow us and the rig to Santa Fe.  Averaged 16.5 MPG pulling the trailer up the Interstate while climbing from 4500 feet to 7000 feet!  We went to Santa Fe Brewing Co for a few beers on tap and several six packs to take back to the trailer.  We sadly learned that they won't be making our favorite beer anymore.  It was called Vissolay Belgium.  They couldn't always get it to come out right, so they have now discontinued making it.  Fortunately, we can still get Quilters Irish Death in Ellensburg WA so we are all set.

We drove around Santa Fe some, and shopped in the Plaza and had a good dinner at the Blue Corn Cafe.  I got the propane bottles filled at the campground.

Friday we drove down to Rio Rancho and put the trailer in Coronado State RV Park.  We like this park because it's near Brian's house and the rate is really good.  What we don't like is that they don't have sewer hookups and they don't have internet.  We stayed at Coronado for 7 days and today, Friday April 1st we moved the trailer to Coronado's storage area where we will leave the trailer while we take our cruise through the Panama canal.

Saturday April 2nd we will fly to San Diego CA and have dinner with Dennis and Donna Martin.  Sunday our ship sails and we will arrive in Fort Lauderdale on April 17th.  We won't be posting any blogs while on the cruise, but we will do some when we return.

Please don't think of this cruise as taking a vacation from our vacation.  This traveling full time in a RV is hard work and every now and then we need a break!   OK, maybe it isn't really hard work!
Maybe it's just really fun!!
