We left Ruidoso on Tuesday March 15 and drove toward Silver city NM. staying at City of Rocks State Park. This park has 10 sites with electricity which are not in the best camping areas. We picked a site which was right next to some of the towering rock formations and had a great western view which was perfect for the sunsets. We took some hikes around the park, drove several loops around the area and generally had a really nice relaxing time. We were using our own water and did actually have a few channels of TV we could watch. We stayed here for 4 days and then went on to Silver City where we stayed at Rose Valley RV Ranch for 2 days. Monday March 21st we drove up to Isleta Hard Rock Casino and spent 2 days in the parking lot for free. Patti did REALLY WELL at Isleta and I didn't undo Patti's good results!
