Northern Quest Casino and Resort

We drove to Spokane with a drive through Wallace ID and arrived in the rain and dark. We called the resort and didn't like the quoted price so we declined, but then immediately received a "special" offer which we took. The Hotel was really great and the shower was fantastic. From Spokane we drove to Prosser and checked into Wine country RV park. We went to Coyote Canyon, Gamache, and Milbrandt wineries. Bought some great wine.

On Thursday the 4th of Nov. we arrived in Ellensburg and parked the trailer at Valerie and Jason's home. Friday night we went to First Friday, a wine tasting event held every month in Ellensburg. We joined them and some of their friends at the Valley Cafe for dinner.

After visiting with Valerie and Jason for a few days, we left on Tuesday and drove to Lake Pleasant RV park in Bothell. We took care of some business, necessary errands and had dinner with friends.

The next Wednesday we returned to Ellensburg and visited with Valerie and Jason more before returning to Seattle on Sunday to pick up Brian and Layla at the airport. We drove back through some snow and it continued to snow in Ellensburg for a few days. The temperatures got way down with one evening getting to -8 degrees F.

We enjoyed spending the Thanksgiving Holidays with Jason, Valerie, Brian, Layla, Peanut and Cricket.

On Monday, the 29th we decided to leave a day earlier than planned to beat a winter storm with lots more snow forecast. After dropping Brian and Layla at the Seatac Radisson Hotel we continued on to Little Creek Casino and got a room for the night.

Tuesday night (Nov 30th) we stayed in a Walmark in Salem Or.
