Yes, back on the road again. We will be traveling north to Grapevine today, about 6 hours, with one stop in Lockhart, TX. According to the food network, THE place to get Texas BBQ is Black's. The are a family owned restaurant and one of the few that actually offer optional BBQ sauce. Because as you may know, real, true BBQ has no sauce as we know it. But Black's finally realized that all the "northerners" kept asking for the BBQ sauce!
You got the feeling that this place has not changed a thing since the day it opened!
Quite a unique place.
