Drove to Lake Taupo, had a coffee in town then drove to Huka Falls which was quite stunning followed by a walk around the craters of the moon, which is a geothermal area in the volcanic region.
Nice hotel just by the lake, it was another motel type of place, very clean and the staff were friendly.
The clouds had cleared by evening time.
Had a lovely meal in the hotel restaurant.
Back now to Rotorua....
