Well, as Steve said, the morning was filled with some last minute purchases for the big day and picking up the cake. My mom was not satisfied with the cake since the board was quite plain, but she was able to pick up a crystal garland that dressed it up quite nicely and really made it shine.

Sarah, Lauren, my mom, and I all went to the spa for our pampering session. Revive Yourself Day Spa in La Mesa, CA is amazing! If you are ever in the area and looking to feel like a queen (or king) go there! I absolutely love them! And ask for Tiffany. She's such a sweetheart.

I had a facial which also includes a bit of a back, shoulder, arm and hand massage. And a manicure and pedicure in the massage chairs. Yummy. During the flight from Auckland to Los Angeles, I broke one of my nails (which I've worked so hard lately to keep perfect) and then when I got out of the car at the spa I broke another one! No fear, though, I asked for a french design, and they looked wonderful. Steve didn't even notice the radically different lengths.

After the spa, we had to rush to Tio Leo's to make our 6:30pm reservations. Those who had decided to spend the day at Sea World got soaked and needed a change of clothes, so it was up to us to get to the restaurant on time. We went though several baskets of chips before everyone else showed up. It was a lovely dinner, marred only by the stress of knowing how much work was waiting for us back at the house.

We got everything ready for the morning, and got to bed as early as possible- I think it was about midnight when the lights were finally turned off. It took me almost an hour to fall asleep, however, with a mixture of excitement, nerves, and the constant "what have I forgotten?" running laps around my skull.
