Well after nearly 30 hours of travelling, lots of time zone changes and not a lot of sleep ive made it!
The flights were fine, on the way to LA we flew over Salt Lake City and the whole area was snowy and frozen, it looked lovely, and you could definately tell when we flew over Las Vegas and Los Angeles!
Then flying into Guatemala was really pretty, the tops of volcanoes (active and no longer active) poking through the clouds, its very lush and green and mountainous. I got a taxi straight out of Guatemala city to Antigua and the drive was impressive. Ive had a wander around Antigua and its really pretty, it has a spanish feel but there are similarities to Jamaica as well. But there is also the smoking volcano in the background!
We arent here for long, we drive on to Honduras tomorrow morning, so Im going to go and have an explore and make the most of my short time here. Well after Ive had a much needed shower because hopefully my room is ready now!
