We went to Owl's Head Transportation Museum this afternoon. We took our small folding tripod chairs on the trike and since we were small we fit in a space right in front. We found a shady spot and set up the chairs and while we were waiting for the air show to start I walked around taking pictures of old cars and old airplanes. I took over 100 pictures and can only upload five here so it will be very difficult to choose which ones to show you.
The air show had several planes including a Japanese Zero and a comparable American warplane (Corsair) flying together and chasing each other around. There was a biplane doing loops and a single wing doing loops as well. There was even a glider doing loops. There were some really old ones, not much younger than the Wright Brothers plane, but all they did was run the engines. I suppose they did not want to take a chance of them crashing.
After the show we went inside to look at all the other cars before heading back to camp.
