We pulled up to load the trike then dumped and headed west.  When we reached Machais it was lunchtime so we stopped at Helen's Restaurant which someone in Bar Harbor had told us about.  It has been there since 1950 so it must be good.We both had a halibut burger and the halibut was lightly breaded and cooked to perfection.  Afterward we ordered two pieces of pie, one to eat there and one to go.  We ate the fresh strawberry there and took the wild Maine blueberry back for supper.  Neither pie was cooked except for the crust.  They were both delicious.

We arrived at the new campground, Saltwater Farm, around 4:00 PM, unloaded the trike and backed into a site with a view of the water.  We only stopped here to go to Owl's Head Transportation Museum tomorrow for the air show using antique aircraft.  The Lobster Festival is going on in Rockland, probably less than 10 miles from here, but we visited that several years ago and thought it was nothing more than a carnival.  It was too crowded and too noisy for us and the lines to get the lobster dinner was too long.

It is much warmer here, I guess we are back in the real world.
