Angela, Paula, Linda and I left a little before 10:00 AM with the two tandem kayaks we rented last night and got to Donnell Pond,about 15 miles northeast of here. We got there a little after 10:00 AM and launched them into the pond. Linda and Angela got in one kayak while Paula and I got in the other. It was pretty hot when we got there but after we got into the water we never noticed the heat again until we returned. We paddled across the pond and stopped at a primitive campsite with a picnic table and had lunch. After eating, three of us submerged ourselves in the water for a while before loading up again and paddling back. After we returned the kayaks and went back to camp we noticed it was 95 degrees. We just started getting the trailer cooled off when the power went off in the whole campground due to a faulty transformer so we piled into the car with our computers and went to McDonalds. The WiFi here has limited bandwidth and is difficult to get anything accomplished on it. I haven't been able to upload any pictures because of it. I caught up the written part of the blog but didn't get to uploading pictures yet.
