Ron left this morning to get back to work in New Hampshire. The rest of us drove around the loop, three in the car and Paula and I on the trike. We made several stops along the way at overlooks and attractions. At one overlook we could see several people high up on the cliff climbing a hiking trail. The trail has some rungs to climb as it is so steep. It is the most strenuous trail in Acadia.
At Otter Cliff Angela, David and I walked down a ways so we could look up at the cliff. We also stopped in at the Jordon Pond Restaurant which is famous for it's tea and popovers. We had lunch which included popovers and jelly on the lawn and then walked down to the pond.
Our last stop was at Cadillac Mountain. It was so windy there we could hardly walk and everyone who had one had to hold on to their hats.
