From Windhoek we drove to the Waterberg Plateau. The drive wasn’t terribly interesting, but when we arrived we got to climb up to the top of the plateau which involved a lot of rock climbing. I mean A LOT. It is a giant plateau, although it was nice to get some actual exercise…we spend way too much time sitting in trucks! We passed a lot of dick dicks, which are teeny tiny gazelles, on the way up…but otherwise our main excitement was focused on scrambling over the rocks.
