We got up SO early this morning to catch the first metro to the airport... We were so glad to find that the buses were also running that early. It would have been a long walk to the train station! No major mishaps or crazy travel stories. I made it through security with no problems or anything... but getting back was a hassle.

Together, with every cent Sarah and I had... we had enough for the rail pass to get home... but all we had was cash! So, we went to the desk and the German lady insisted we needed an extra ticket each to get to where the first ticket was valid! We just didn't have enough! She said to put it all on a card There wasn't enough on the card! Then we tried to pay what we could in cash and the rest on the card... no luck! No paying for only part with cash and part with card...  Finally, after much hassling (Germans and their strict rules!), we paid for the shorter tickets with the card and the passes with our cash. Whew. It was exhausting just trying to explain that! We did eventually make it back, though.

We rested for the afternoon and then went out for Doner Kebaps. (Mmmmmm!) If I lived in Germany, I'd have those every other day... and be quite a large person! We came back to the house and watched movies before going to bed.
