Seen about 545 miles of I-80 today it was very hot stopped about every hour for water and gas with the wind, heat and 70 - 75 MPH the bike was only getting only about 25 MPG. The MPG really goes down above 65 MPH. I-80 is really not a road to enjoy a bike ride unless you like fast only. But you can cover a lot of ground in a day if you so desire.
